A 12-week intermediate programme drawing from Tibetan Buddhist meditation and Patanjali's three-limbed inner path of Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi. Designed for practitioners with at least one year of consistent practice or completion of Course 1, this course moves beyond technique into the territory of genuine meditative absorption — calm, clear, and scientifically validated. Day 1 is mandatory in-person.
This course is anchored in landmark contemplative neuroscience. Davidson & Lutz (PNAS 2004) found that long-term meditators exhibit high-amplitude gamma synchrony during compassion meditation — one of the most cited findings in the field. Kozhevnikov et al. (PLOS ONE 2013) validated that Tummo practitioners can raise core body temperature to 38.3°C through visualisation alone, confirmed by thermometric data. Tonglen practice produced significant HRV improvement and burnout reduction in healthcare workers (iMotions/Mindfulness, 2025). Shamatha reduces default mode network mind-wandering activity, as demonstrated by fMRI (Hasenkamp, 2012).
